In this video diameter measurements are taken for the Grimburg JUL V3 and the Less Lethal Ballistics Smasher. Is the bore size specified by Grimburg accurate for the JUL of .686? By our measurements a smaller barrel bore appears to be warranted. The JUL V3 had a diameter measurement of .6806” and the Smasher had a measured/compensated measurement of .6793” so it appears the JUL V3 is much smaller than their specification of .684” in reality. And the Smasher is about a thousandth of an inch smaller in diameter than the JUL V3. Because of this, a barrel bore size of .682” may yield greater muzzle velocity and joules than the .686” barrel bore size.
