Out of the box it ships with open sights — a windage-adjustable rear sight that matches the original PDP in quality and dimensions, making PDP aftermarket rear sights compatible.
The frame carries over all key PDP features: ambidextrous bolt catch lever, convertible magazine catch, and automatic trigger safety. At 690 g and 184 mm long, the build quality feels authentic and durable, purpose-built for repeated training use. The 12g CO₂ capsule lives inside the 8-round magazine, keeping the grip profile true to the original pistol.
Performance & Ballistics
The T4E Walther PDP Compact operates at under 5.0 joules of muzzle energy, placing it in the training and recreational tier rather than the defensive tier of less-lethal launchers. It fires .43 caliber roundballs — rubber, paint, chalk, polymer, and special balls — at velocities suitable for force-on-force training at close to moderate range.
Shot capacity is approximately 40 rounds per 12g CO₂ cartridge, with the cartridge housed in the 8-round magazine. The platform prioritizes authenticity and training fidelity over raw power, making it ideal for scenario-based training, dry-fire replacement, and MagFed paintball sport. For defensive use, a higher-energy platform would be more appropriate.
