In this video we determine the amount of joules generated by 3 different launchers: Byrna LE, Umarex TR 68 and Umarex HDB 68. For each launcher we use Byrna Kinetic Projectiles for an apples to apples comparison. We also compare some of the features and benefits of each. The Byrna LE and Umarex TR 68 (not to be confused with the lower power Umarex HDR 68) are both being powered by Umarex 12g CO2 cartridges. The Umarex HDB 68 is tuned for higher performance, has a 16 round capacity and therefore requires a 25g CO2 cartridge. Testing was done by Less Lethal Ballistics, home of the Smasher .68 caliber kinetic round projectile.
